Commercial/Industrial Case Study

The situation: A Grand Rapids based manufacturer was experiencing significant environmental issues in their building. Temperatures were very uneven, there was a constant negative air pressure in the building, and the maintenance costs were very high. The building was a 231,000 sq. ft. structure, and energy costs were spiraling out of control!

Seaman's is contacted: A comprehensive study was conducted and specialty heaters were recommended to replace an inefficient steam boiler.

Results: The client saved $109,000 in energy costs annually with natural gas usage down 36%. The negative air pressure situation was eliminated and temperatures throughout the building were even and comfortable.
